Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 23, 2026. This policy explains how the PharmaFlow Owner companion app uses camera access, pairing data, and pharmacy owner stats.
What The App Does
The PharmaFlow Owner companion app lets a pharmacy owner pair a phone with an approved PharmaFlow pharmacy workstation and view read-only business summaries. The app is designed for monitoring, not for remote selling, inventory editing, supplier payment, or cashier control.
Camera Use
The app requests camera access only so the owner can scan a QR code shown by the pharmacy workstation during pairing. The app does not record audio, does not request microphone permission, and does not store or upload photos or videos from the camera.
Data We Process
After pairing, the app may process read-only pharmacy summaries such as sales totals, refund totals, transaction counts, open shift counts, stock alerts, customer debt totals, supplier payable summaries, and sync status. The exact data shown depends on the connected PharmaFlow workstation configuration.
The app also stores local pairing credentials on the phone so it can reconnect securely. If the pharmacy revokes or expires a session, the app hides protected cached business data until the owner pairs again.
Cloud Services
The owner app uses Firebase services, including anonymous authentication and Firestore, to receive approved encrypted owner snapshots from the pharmacy workstation. These providers process data only so the app can operate. PharmaFlow does not sell this data and does not use it for advertising.
Retention And Control
Pairing remains active until the owner unlinks the phone, the pharmacy workstation revokes the device, or the related license/session expires. A revoked or expired phone must be paired again before it can view live owner stats.
Google Play Data Safety Summary
Camera
Used only to scan the pharmacy device pairing QR code. Photos and videos are not saved or uploaded.
Microphone
Not requested by the app. Audio recording is disabled for Android builds.
App identity
Firebase Anonymous Authentication creates an app-specific ID so the phone can receive approved owner snapshots.
Pharmacy operations data
Basic owner stats such as sales totals, shifts, stock alerts, and finance summaries are synced after pairing.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and owner snapshot payloads are encrypted before the phone reads them.
Sharing
Data is not sold and is not used for advertising. Cloud infrastructure providers process data only to run the service.
